I just registered myself as an Individual/Sole-Proprietership/Non-Incorporated business operating as ‘mWare Technologies’.

Wuzzat all mean? I now have a GST number/account for my consultancy. And they let me back-date it to the first. So the previous frustration is moot.

Don’t know what I think about all this. It’s a bit of a milestone because it means I’m earning enough to justify it… but it took so long to get here. And now I have to do accounting stuff every quarter, but I’d have to do it anyway for my annual income taxes.
The biggest upshot is now mWare actually is somewhat more official than it used to be, though I haven’t registered the business name. If I do that, I might as well incorporate. Should really get a website up there. Jill… are you reading this? 🙂

On a semi-related topic, I’ve actually ‘hired’ two other guys to help me do all my work. Should prove interesting. I like the notion of helping out my friends too. (Financially, that is.)
