Stef’s been given morphine and is resting more comfortably, Mom’s on her way home – I’m not going to his apartment till tomorrow and I’ll visit him immediately after that.

They haven’t put him in a room yet, but they’ve moved him from the hall into an observation room, which isn’t great, but a little lower traffic than being in a hallway.

I think we’re going to try and catch some shut-eye now, hopefully I’ll update tomorrow afternoon or sooner if I hear anything. If you want to send him good thoughts, email me (mike at geiger) [dot ca] and I’ll print off the messages and take ’em to him in the ‘morrow.
