Toronto Travel & Agenda (aka First Road Trip with the Element)

  1. Saturday December 17: Drive to Toronto, depart Ottawa between 0900 and 1200
  2. Sunday December 18 0800: EI Catalyst (Yes, 8AM)
  3. Monday December 19: Finishing up things at EIC, maybe getting Alia and Martin at YYZ
  4. Tuesday December 20: Return to Ottawa, probably stop for spring-rolls in Kingston

EI Catalyst has an 8AM Maintenance Window on Sunday (their post) and I have 2 more Gigabyte motherboards for Server North, so I’ll be watching over our gear during the maintenance and making sure everything comes back up properly. Then I’ll get to work replacing the motherboards in p0 and m1. ‘m1 again?‘ you ask? Well we swapped m0 and m1 after it showed that the Gigabyte boards are total champs.
If anyone has an 3-5V and/or 64b PCI-X 1 or 2U benders – I’ll be your friend forever.

And since it’s the season of shopping and consumerism giving, a few people mentioned they wanted rides or knew others who did – let me know by Friday night please! I’ve got plenty of room.

I’ll be staying near Avenue & Lawrence with a friend of the family.

Now I have to keep an eye on the weather:
