Y’know that beautiful Sony LCD I’m always raving about?

There’s something wrong with it.

When using the DVI input, if I bring the computer out of sleep mode, the screen with come on for a few seconds, and then go black… it _won’t_ say “No Input”, and the power LED stays green instead of going into power-savings mode…

If I flip the input over to analogue (VGA), it’ll do the right thing (tell me there’s no cable, go to power save, or show whatever I’ve got the KVM switch set to)… then when I go back to the digital input, same thing again, it’ll show the picture for a few seconds, then go black.

I’d seen this problem a few months ago, but it went away on it’s own. Now it’s happening every day this week. So I just hooked it up to my laptop (a second DVI source) and it’s doing the exact same thing.

So I know it’s the screen. 🙁

I’d better dig out the box.
