cp usr-20060325aa-UFS.dd usr-20060325aa-UFS.dd.orig
mdconfig -a -t vnode -f usr-20060325aa-UFS.dd -u 0
mount -o ro /dev/md0 /mnt/
And copy away. (Yes yes, I should’ve fscked the image, but I didn’t – nyah!)
Now I must go thru and organize everything. Not happy with the tools on OSX. iPhoto is far from ideal since I organize all my photos on/with the filesystem. On Windows I would use FujiFinePix, on Linux I’d use Gthumb. On OSX I seem to have GraphicConverter and nothing else… and it’s a demo version at that – and very slow. This is not enjoyable.
