Basically the servers are up for rent; dedicated colo’d machines for $50-$100 a month. They’re all Dual-P3s and have at least 256MB of RAM. Since SCSI drives are still expensive/hard to get cheap, I’ll be setting up a NAS (eventually a SAN) for customers’ data storage. If you want a server, be it for gaming or LAMP or just off-site backup, please let me know!
Also, if you want to colo your own box, I can pull a machine out – it’s not like they’re all running/in-use right away. It’ll be relatively cheap compared to the Toronto data center as this is a single-homed, shared connection, but it’s been pretty good and will serve most people’s needs.
I’ll be writing more later, the router is being a whole barrel of fun to setup the way I want… VLAN+Bridge+filtering+DHCP…
